Throughout history, running .. more
Throughout history, running swiftly served vital purposes like
survival, hunting, messaging, and warfare, often in hilly terrains.
Today, the instinct remains, driven by a love for running in natures
demanding settings.

It's an early start so you will require headlamps. There is lots of
parking at Boongarup Pool, if full please park at Walyunga Pool,
900m away. Please note there are additional toilets at that location
and that the run course goes past this point.

shoes!
Many have passed the land before us .. more
Many have passed the land before us.
The early settler survey teams must have had it tough pushing

The beauty of this trail is .. more
The beauty of this trail is that it takes you through private land that you can only traverse with special permissions. This also means we have to make our way over fences! Nothing like a ladder agility test 57km into an ultra! Watch out for the barbed wire โ ๏ธ๐ฒ

The final 5km is largely marked with logs and rocks. We have carved out a techy decent that will make sure your eyes are wide open when you cross that finish line ๐ฒ๐.
Just when you think you're on .. more
Just when you think you're on the decline to the finish chute you
will find a vertical rock wall ๐งโโ๏ธ that will have you borderline rock
climbing / scrambling! Itโs like icing on the cake ๐ง. We felt like
a flat non technical finish just wouldnโt have given this adventure
the right flavour.
Ps. Itโs actually not the final final climb as we have a new finish
line ๐ now and you will go up a gradual incline to that finishing
arch this year. Donโt worry we will cheer you all the way and FYI
itโs a no walking zone! ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ถโ๐โโ๏ธ๐โ
